There’s a big update about the launch of BSNL’s 4G service. According to reports, the government-owned company BSNL is expected to officially announce the launch of its 4G services on October 15. The company has already installed around 25,000 sites across 10 states to support the service.
Major Update on 4G Service
Sources say that BSNL plans to offer 4G service in Delhi and Mumbai as well. The company aims to install a total of 1 lakh sites by June 2025. With this 4G network, customers will be able to enjoy speeds of up to 100 Mbps, making it possible to transfer large files in just a few seconds without any hassle.
Currently, BSNL is providing broadband connections through fiber in rural areas, ensuring fast internet speeds in every village. BSNL has already started offering its 4G service in many places across the country. If you want to set up BSNL 4G on your mobile, you can do so easily to enjoy high-speed data connectivity.
TCS and Tejas Awarded Tender
To build this network, BSNL has awarded tenders to TCS and Tejas Networks. The network will be completely made in India. BSNL has already started distributing 4G SIM cards in several circles and is currently in the trial phase of launching services in many areas. The official and commercial launch is expected on October 15.
