Nothing Expands Its Smartphone Lineup With Phone 4b in India, Introduces Special RCB Edition

Nothing has strengthened its presence in India’s smartphone market by unveiling the Nothing Phone 4b, the first model in the company’s newly introduced ‘b’ series. Alongside the standard variant, the brand has also launched a Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition, a limited-edition smartphone inspired by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

The Phone 4b is aimed at buyers looking for a premium-looking smartphone with modern hardware, long-term software support, and Nothing’s signature design language without entering the flagship price segment.

Nothing Phone 4b Price and Sale Date

The smartphone has been introduced in two storage options. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at ₹34,999, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version costs ₹38,999.

Customers purchasing the device during the launch period can also take advantage of select bank discounts and exchange offers.

The Nothing Phone 4b will be available for purchase across India beginning July 14 through Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and the official Nothing retail network. Buyers can choose from Black, White, and Blue colour variants.

Meanwhile, the RCB Edition is being sold through an exclusive limited-drop event at Nothing’s flagship experience store in Bengaluru.

AMOLED Display With High Refresh Rate

The Phone 4b features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ Samsung Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. The panel supports up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, making outdoor viewing easier even under direct sunlight.

Additional display features include a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, 480Hz PWM dimming, and durable AGC DT-Star 2 glass protection.

Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Powers the Device

Inside, the smartphone is driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor built on a 4nm manufacturing process. The chipset is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and offers 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

To improve thermal performance during gaming and heavy workloads, Nothing has equipped the device with a vapour chamber cooling system featuring a large heat dissipation area.

Clean Software With Long-Term Updates

The Nothing Phone 4b ships with Nothing OS 4.1, based on Android 16. The software delivers a near-stock Android experience with Nothing’s own visual identity and smart features.

Nothing has confirmed that the handset will receive three major Android updates and six years of security patches, extending software support well beyond many devices in its segment.

Signature Glyph Lighting Returns

Continuing the brand’s unique design approach, the Phone 4b includes the Glyph Bar on the rear panel. The lighting system uses 45 individually controlled mini-LEDs and supports customizable alerts, countdown timers, charging indicators, recording notifications, volume animations, and other interactive functions.

Dual Rear Cameras

Photography duties are handled by a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) for improved image stability. The setup also includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera for wider shots.

For selfies and video calls, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, with support for recording videos at up to 4K resolution.

Large Battery With Reverse Charging

The Nothing Phone 4b houses a 6,000mAh battery, designed to provide all-day battery life under regular usage. It supports 33W wired fast charging and also offers 7.5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge compatible accessories directly from the phone.

Connectivity and Security

The smartphone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, USB Type-C, and multiple satellite navigation systems. Security features include an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, while the IP64 rating provides protection against dust and water splashes.
