Ravi Dubey is preparing for a major milestone in his acting career as he steps into the role of Lakshman in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. After more than two decades in television, reality shows and production, the actor is set to make his Hindi film debut in one of India’s most ambitious cinematic projects.
Ravi Dubey has come a long way since his early days in the entertainment industry. From appearing in television commercials to becoming a familiar face through popular serials such as Jamai Raja and Saas Bina Sasural, the actor has gradually built a successful career across different formats.

Ravi Dubey began his acting journey in 2005 with the television show Stree… Teri Kahaani, which was produced by legendary actors Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu.
His first audition was held at the couple’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai. What started as an opportunity for a newcomer eventually became the foundation of a career spanning more than 21 years.
Before establishing himself as a television actor, Ravi also appeared in around 40 television commercials for brands such as Reliance, TVS Victor, Nestle and ICICI.

He revealed that he was cast in 2024 after going through the selection process.
Ravi described the opportunity as something beyond what he could have imagined or asked for. He also spoke about the importance of staying focused on his work rather than trying to control everything around him.
