The film has attracted early interest from moviegoers across India, with Delhi-NCR and Mumbai emerging as the leading markets for ticket sales.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Its ambitious scale, popular cast and adaptation of the Ramayana have made it one of the highly anticipated Bollywood releases of the year.

As of noon on October 21, Ramayana had reportedly collected ₹5.35 crore through advance bookings across India. Approximately 91,125 tickets had been sold for 3,542 shows, according to box office tracking figures.

These figures represent an early snapshot of ticket sales, and collections may change as additional shows become available and the release date approaches.
Delhi-NCR Leads, Mumbai Records Strong Advance Sales
Delhi-NCR emerged as the biggest contributor to Ramayana‘s advance booking collections, generating approximately ₹1.50 crore from 19,607 tickets. Mumbai followed with around ₹1.08 crore from 15,671 tickets.

The initial figures indicate considerable interest in the film across several urban markets. However, its final opening-day collection will depend on ticket sales over the coming days, show availability and audience response.
Mumbai IMAX Tickets Priced at ₹2,770
Ticket prices for select premium screenings have also drawn attention ahead of the release. Recliner seats for certain IMAX 3D shows at PVR ICON: Phoenix Palladium in Mumbai’s Lower Parel area are listed at ₹2,770.
The premium seats are available for selected shows scheduled for November 5 and 6. Prices can differ across cinemas depending on the screen format, seating category and showtime, so the quoted amount does not represent the film’s standard ticket price.
Mumbai’s scheduled screenings include early-morning and late-night shows, offering audiences several options to watch the film on its opening days.
Ramayana Release Date, Cast and Sequel Plans
Ramayana is being developed as a two-part cinematic saga based on the Indian epic. The first instalment is scheduled to release in theatres on November 5, 2026, with the second part planned for 2027.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Sunny Deol plays Hanuman, while Ravi Dubey portrays Lakshman.
With advance bookings already crossing ₹5 crore in the reported figures, attention will now turn to the film’s opening-day performance. The coming days should provide a clearer picture of audience demand as more tickets are sold and bookings expand across additional cinemas.
