Delhi: Armed Attackers Fire at Sweet Shop, Panic Ensues

In Delhi, criminal activities continue unabated. On Friday night, two armed attackers fired at a sweet shop in Tilak Nagar, West Delhi. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident. The attackers fled the scene after the shooting.

Delhi police reported that the incident occurred at around 11 PM outside ‘Singla Sweet Shop.’ According to initial information, the attackers arrived on a motorcycle and shot at the glass window of the shop before escaping.

Four Empty Shells Found

Police found four empty cartridges at the scene, but no injuries were reported. The Tilak Nagar police have filed a case and are searching for the attackers.

Possibly Extortion-Related

According to police, the incident might be related to extortion. They said, “Several teams have been formed to gather more information and track down the attackers.” Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and checking the routes taken by the attackers. The Tilak Nagar police are confident they will arrest the suspects soon.

Fear in the Area

After the shooting, there is a sense of fear in Tilak Nagar. The police have increased patrols in the area, monitoring everyone entering and leaving. They are also working to track down the attackers using CCTV footage. The exact motive behind the shooting is still unclear.
