Faaxy, born Cheru Kunnath Paijas in Kerala, India, on February 21, 1982, developed a passion for music from a young age, drawing inspiration from R&B icons like Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. Introduced to hip-hop during high school, he quickly fell in love with its sound and culture. In 2013, Faaxy established his own music studio in Oman, where he later released his debut single “Faaxy Code” in 2021, marking the beginning of his successful music career.With his music available on various international platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube, Faaxy gained recognition not only in his native country but also across the globe. His music video “You Are The One,” released by VEVO in 2022, became a massive hit, earning him accolades such as the “Best Oman Artist of the Year” award at the 2022 Music Awards.
Faaxy’s debut album, “In The Darkness,” received critical acclaim, further solidifying his position in the music industry. With additional studio albums like “Tempting” (2019) and “Let Me Say A Little” (2021), Faaxy showcased his versatility as an artist.
