One area where India is expected to do well is archery. Indian para-athlete Sheetal Devi is set to compete in the individual knockout compound event. She finished second in the ranking round with a great performance.

Apart from Sheetal Devi, there are high expectations for Sarita in the individual women’s knockout archery matches. Additionally, in the javelin throw, Praveen Kumar will compete in the F57 event final. In para-badminton, Tarun will face a French para-athlete in the men’s singles SL4 group stage match.

On the previous day of the Paris Paralympics 2024, Indian athletes performed admirably. Avani Lekhara won a gold medal, and Mona Agarwal secured a bronze medal in the women’s 10-meter air rifle standing SH1, marking India’s first medal at these games. So far, India has won a total of four medals in the tournament, including one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals.
