Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited film Ramayana: Part One is generating considerable excitement ahead of its theatrical debut. The upcoming mythological drama, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, has reportedly collected more than ₹100 crore through worldwide advance ticket sales, including blocked seats.

The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on November 5, 2026. According to trade tracking platform Sacnilk, strong advance bookings in India and international markets have helped the production cross the ₹100 crore mark before its release.

India has contributed a major portion of the reported pre-release business. Advance bookings for the first three days have generated more than ₹58 crore in gross collections without blocked seats. When blocked seats are included, the domestic figure has reportedly increased to approximately ₹72.6 crore.

International markets have also delivered encouraging numbers, with overseas pre-sales contributing more than ₹40 crore. The opening-day advance booking figure alone has reportedly crossed ₹50 crore worldwide.

North America Drives Overseas Advance Bookings

The United States has emerged as an important market for Ramayana: Part One. The film’s paid preview screenings, scheduled for November 4, have reportedly generated more than $1.2 million in advance sales, with over 51,000 tickets already booked.

The overall response in the American market has also been strong. Reports suggest that more than 1.4 lakh tickets have been sold for screenings scheduled between November 4 and November 8. Preview-night bookings account for approximately 37 per cent of these sales.

Based on current pre-release trends, trade estimates suggest that the film could earn between $13 million and $14 million during its first five days in North America.

Its overseas opening weekend collection is projected to cross $20 million, with the possibility of reaching $25 million if other international markets contribute strongly. Australia and the United Kingdom are among the other territories supporting the film’s advance sales.

Ranbir Kapoor Plays Lord Rama, Yash Takes on Ravana

The film brings together a prominent cast from the Indian entertainment industry. Ranbir Kapoor portrays Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi plays Goddess Sita. Yash has been cast as Ravana.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the project is planned as a two-part adaptation of the Ramayana, one of India’s most widely known epics.

The supporting cast includes Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Sheeba Chadha, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, Kunal Kapoor and Anupam Kher.

The scale of the production, its well-known cast and the popularity of the original epic have contributed to the growing interest in the film.

Ramayana Set for November 5 Release

Ramayana: Part One will arrive in theatres on November 5, 2026, following its November 4 paid previews in selected international markets.

With worldwide advance bookings reportedly exceeding ₹100 crore, expectations are building around its opening performance. The film’s actual box-office performance will become clearer after its theatrical release, particularly as audiences respond to its storytelling, visual presentation and performances.
