Realme appears to be working on its next-generation Pro+ smartphone, and a new leak has revealed some possible details about the Realme 17 Pro+. The upcoming handset is reportedly being developed with a large OLED display and a powerful triple-camera setup.
Realme has not announced the smartphone officially yet, so the specifications should be treated as unconfirmed information.
6.78-Inch OLED Display Could Be Included
According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the rumored Realme smartphone could feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution.
The panel is also said to support a high refresh rate, although the exact figure has not been disclosed. A higher refresh rate could make scrolling, animations and supported games feel smoother.
The reported display would continue Realme’s focus on large, high-quality screens in its Pro+ lineup.
200-Megapixel Camera Could Lead the Setup
Photography could be one of the main highlights of the Realme 17 Pro+.
The leaked specifications point to a triple rear camera system consisting of a 200-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The telephoto sensor is reportedly capable of offering 3.5x optical zoom. Previous leaks have also suggested that Realme could use Samsung’s HP5 sensor for the main camera and a Samsung JN5 sensor for the periscope lens.
If these details prove accurate, the phone could offer a strong combination of high-resolution photography and optical zoom.
Realme May Retain a Familiar Camera Strategy
Interestingly, the rumored camera specifications are quite similar to those found on the Realme 16 Pro+.
The previous-generation model also features a 200-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor. This suggests that Realme could concentrate on improving image processing, software and overall camera performance rather than making major hardware changes.
