The marriage in question was between Manoj Pahwa and his wife, Seema Pahwa.
In an interview with Hindi Rush, Manoj Pahwa shared how a prank by Neha Dhupia and Akshay Kumar nearly caused serious trouble in his marriage, but Seema’s quick thinking saved the day.
The Prank by Neha Dhupia
Manoj Pahwa explained that they were shooting for the movie Singh Is Kinng when this prank took place. Akshay Kumar, who is known for his pranks, was also involved. Manoj shared, “After shooting in Australia, Seema called me, and Akshay took the phone and pretended to be me. Then Neha took the phone, pretending to be a random woman, and said that ‘Manoj is not here; he has gone to the bathroom.'”
Marriage Saved
Manoj continued, “If Seema had suspected something, my marriage could have been in serious trouble. She might have thought, ‘What is Manoj doing with this woman?’ But thankfully, she realized it was a prank. She knew that the person on the phone wasn’t her husband but someone else.”
Manoj added, “I told Akshay that his prank wouldn’t work because Seema and I have been married for many years and understand each other very well.”
