The results for the Bihar Assembly Elections will be declared on November 14th. The Matrize exit poll for the 2025 elections suggests that the party of Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM) has a voter share of 1%, while the party founded by the renowned election strategist Prashant Kishor (Jan Suraaj) appears to have a voter share of 5%.
Regarding seats, the Matrize exit poll projects that the Jan Suraaj party is likely to win between 0 to 2 seats. In contrast, the AIMIM, which won 5 seats last time, is projected to shrink to 2-3 seats this election.
What Matrize Founder Manoj Singh Revealed
Discussing this exit poll with a news channel, Matrize founder Manoj Singh explained the 0-2 seat estimate for Jan Suraaj. He said that Prashant Kishor’s decision not to contest the election himself went against the party to some extent. He also noted that Kishor showed no clear “target” or intense focus on ensuring his candidates won.
Analysis on Jan Suraaj
Manoj Singh commented on Jan Suraaj’s candidate selection, stating that although Kishor announced he would give a chance to new faces, this wasn’t really visible. Instead, he made many candidates who had come from other parties his face. Singh cited a third major reason as the displeasure of Jan Suraaj party workers. He further mentioned that Prashant Kishor had highlighted migration as a major issue but lacked any clear vision on how to stop it.
Statement on Owaisi’s Party
Regarding the Seemanchal region (where AIMIM traditionally performs well), Singh said that local residents believe Owaisi’s party will not win more than 4-5 seats, unlike the last time. He added that the NDA alliance also doesn’t want Owaisi to win many seats there. The NDA wants Owaisi to cut even 10% of the votes in constituencies where the contest is a close 40-60 split, as that would make the NDA’s path easier.
