After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has once again criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On Thursday, he strongly opposed PM Modi’s rally in Madhubani, Bihar, saying that the country is mourning, but the PM is still attending political rallies.
Pappu Yadav Questions PM’s Timing
Taking to his social media account X, Pappu Yadav wrote:
“Prime Minister, this is an unforgivable act. The entire nation is in sorrow, and you are attending a political rally in Bihar, laughing and enjoying on stage. Is this how you show grief? The pain of the families who lost their loved ones seems to have no effect on your stone-hearted government. We are ashamed of having a PM like this.”
PM Modi’s Rally Was Kept Simple
Although Pappu Yadav expressed anger, the event in Madhubani was reportedly held in a very simple and respectful manner. There was no celebration or grand welcome. Security was tightened across Bihar, especially at tourist spots, and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was also present during the rally.
What Did Pappu Yadav Say About the Army?
Earlier on Wednesday, Pappu Yadav also questioned the central government about army recruitment. He asked:
“Why hasn’t the government filled the vacant posts in the Indian Army since COVID? Because of lack of recruitment, soldiers are not deployed in hilly and forest areas of Kashmir. This is why attacks are happening.”
