UP Police Recruitment 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Police has taken strict action against those spreading rumors about a paper leak during the ongoing police recruitment exam. An FIR has been filed at the Hussain Ganj police station in Lucknow against individuals involved in spreading false information on Telegram channels.
The FIR was lodged by Inspector Satyendra Kumar, the in-charge of the media cell of the UP Police Recruitment Board. According to the complaint, some mischievous elements are spreading rumors on social media about a paper leak and trying to deceive the candidates by asking for money in exchange for fake question papers. The FIR mentions that these individuals are circulating fake question papers with QR codes on Telegram and demanding money through UPI IDs.

The FIR also names several individuals, including Kapil, Shoaib, Siddharth, Manu, Harish, and Nabi, who have been accused of sending fake papers and asking candidates for money. The police have urged candidates not to believe in any rumors and to report immediately if anyone contacts them about a paper leak or asks for money.
To ensure the exam is conducted transparently, agencies like the UP STF are monitoring social media closely to take action against those spreading false information.
The FIR also includes a post made by former SP MLA and minister Yasir Shah on his social media account, where he allegedly spread information about the paper leak.
