Rain has wreaked havoc in some areas. Then the Meteorological Department has predicted rain. In which red alert has been given in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. So, the possibility of heavy rain has been expressed in the states including Gujarat and Goa.

On Wednesday, Delhi was flooded due to torrential rains. Delhi, the capital of the country, became a sea. On the other hand, people got relief from Bafara, but on Thursday, people were again disturbed by Bafara. However, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in Delhi-NCR. It has also expressed the possibility of heavy rain in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday.

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in North India including Delhi-NCR till August 5. After rains on Wednesday-Thursday in Delhi-NCR, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain. A red alert has been issued for heavy rains in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Heavy rain forecast in Gujarat
The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert across the country. According to the IMD, very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra. Heavy to very heavy rain is forecast at isolated places over Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam and Meghalaya, Konkan and Goa, Gujarat region, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka.

Uttarakhand and Himachal recently witnessed horrifying scenes of cloudburst devastation on Thursday. Meanwhile, IMD has issued an alert for heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. At that time, the Meteorological Department has also raised concerns with this forecast. Heavy rainfall has been predicted in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha.

Delhi has a record average rainfall of 9 inches in August. On 1 August, torrential rains in some places covered almost half of the average rainfall for the entire month in a single day. The IMD has issued a heavy to very heavy rainfall warning for Delhi and surrounding cities on August 2 and 3. Weather will remain partly cloudy till next week with chance of rain. During this period, there will be less chance of rain with Bafara on 04 and 05 August.
