Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini presented the state budget on March 17, laying the foundation for a strong and developed Haryana. For the first time, the state’s budget for the financial year 2025-26 has crossed ₹2.05 lakh crore.
During his budget speech, CM Saini announced that the government will soon transfer ₹150 crore to the bank accounts of 70,000 beneficiaries.
Money for Housing Scheme
CM Saini said, “Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, around 70,000 beneficiaries had registered. They have now been verified, and on March 20, we will transfer ₹150 crore as an installment to their bank accounts. Providing a home for every poor family is PM Narendra Modi’s dream.”
Other Major Announcements
Apart from this, CM Saini also made a big announcement for women empowerment.
- The Lado Lakshmi Yojana will provide ₹2,100 per month to support women.
- For this scheme, ₹5,000 crore has been allocated in the 2025-26 budget.
New Initiatives for Future Development
To prepare Haryana for 2047, CM Saini announced the creation of a new “Department of Future.”
- This department will study future challenges, economic growth opportunities, and provide policy suggestions to other departments.
- The Haryana AI Mission was also announced, under which Gurugram and Panchkula will be developed as Artificial Intelligence (AI) hubs.
These steps aim to boost economic growth, improve governance, and empower citizens for a better future in Haryana.
