Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Aparna Yadav might be considering a return to the Samajwadi Party (SP). Aparna, who joined BJP before the 2022 Assembly elections, was recently appointed as the Vice Chairperson of the Women’s Commission. However, sources claim she is unhappy with this position and doesn’t want to take on this role.

Reports suggest that Aparna has contacted SP through her uncle, Shivpal Yadav. Sources say that despite working hard for two and a half years, Aparna didn’t receive the post she expected. When she was finally given a position, it was as the Vice Chairperson of the Women’s Commission, which she feels doesn’t match her stature. Interestingly, Aparna has never spoken against Akhilesh Yadav or Dimple Yadav, even while being in BJP. This has fueled rumors that she may return to SP.

Joined BJP 2.5 Years Ago
Aparna left SP in 2022 after being upset with Akhilesh Yadav and joined BJP. There were speculations that BJP would give her a ticket from the Lucknow Cantt seat, but that didn’t happen. Her name was also considered for the mayoral ticket, but again, she was not chosen. Aparna even wanted to contest in the Lok Sabha elections, but BJP did not give her the chance.

Even though she didn’t get a ticket, Aparna campaigned for BJP in various elections, including constituencies with a large Yadav population. She even campaigned in Azamgarh for Dinesh Lal Yadav, who was running against her brother-in-law, Dharmendra Yadav. However, during this time, she avoided making any negative remarks about the Yadav family.

It’s important to note that ever since Aparna joined BJP, she has never launched strong attacks on SP or the Yadav family. Likewise, SP has also not made harsh comments against her. BJP had hoped that Aparna would speak out against SP, but since that didn’t happen, she was not given any major responsibility in the party. On the other hand, BJP sources claim that the role given to her matches her stature.
