BSEB 12th Exam 2025: Important Guidelines for Students

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will conduct the Intermediate Annual Exam 2025 from 1st February to 15th February. Around 12.92 lakh students will participate across 1,677 exam centers in the state.

To ensure a smooth and fair exam process, the board has issued important guidelines. All students are required to follow these instructions carefully.


Key Guidelines for Students

Reach the Exam Center on Time

Students must arrive at the exam center one hour before the exam starts.

  • First Shift: Exam begins at 9:30 AM, students must reach by 8:30 AM, and the gate closes at 9:00 AM.
  • Second Shift: Exam begins at 2:00 PM, students must reach by 1:00 PM, and the gate closes at 1:30 PM.

Late entry will not be allowed.


Double Security Checks

To ensure security, students will undergo two security checks:

  1. At the entry gate
  2. Inside the exam hall

Section 144 will be enforced within 200 meters of the exam centers, with police deployed for safety.


Items Not Allowed

Students are not allowed to carry:

  • Mobile phones
  • Calculators
  • Bluetooth devices
  • Earphones

Only the exam center superintendent can carry a mobile phone.

CCTV cameras and video recording will monitor the exam to prevent cheating.


What If Admit Card is Lost?

If a student loses their admit card, they will still be allowed to take the exam after verification through the attendance sheet and roll sheet.


Dress Code Update

Students are allowed to wear shoes and socks until 5th February, after which the decision will depend on weather conditions.


Control Room for Assistance

A Control Room will operate from 31st January to 15th February to handle any issues during the exam. Students can call the provided helpline numbers for immediate assistance.
