Credit card rules will change in September. HDFC Bank will set limits on reward points for utility transactions like electricity and water bills. IDFC First Bank will also update its payment schedules, which could affect how and when payments are processed. The central government employees may see a 3% increase in their Dearness Allowance (DA) this September. Currently, the DA is 50% of the basic salary and may rise to 53% next month.
