Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Poland, from August 21 to 22. After this, he will head to Ukraine on August 23. During his visit, PM Modi addressed the Indian community in Poland, stating that whatever India does, it sets a new record and becomes a part of history. He also mentioned India’s goal of becoming the world’s third-largest economy.
PM Modi’s Interaction with the Indian Community
PM Modi interacted with members of the Indian community in Poland. The audience greeted him with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” (Victory to Mother India). In his speech, PM Modi discussed various topics, including the Jam Saheb Youth Memorial Program, Space Day, and India’s many achievements. He highlighted that a large portion of Poland’s population travels by metro in India every day.
National Space Day
Poland is home to over 25,000 Indians. PM Modi emphasized that India always sets new records, such as when it launched more than 100 satellites at once, creating a new record. He also mentioned that on August 23, India will celebrate National Space Day, marking the day when India’s Chandrayaan landed on the Moon’s South Pole, a place no other country has reached. This location has been named “Shivshakti.”
Changing Times
PM Modi further mentioned that India now has the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world. However, in terms of population, India’s contribution to global growth was not as significant in the past. In 2023, India’s contribution to global growth exceeded 16%. The situation is changing rapidly, and India is not far from becoming the world’s third-largest economy. PM Modi promised the people that during his third term, India will achieve this goal.
