Yash Dayal, a fast bowler from Uttar Pradesh, has been selected for Team India. He will be part of the 16-member Indian team for the first Test against Bangladesh. Yash’s journey to the Indian team has been quite remarkable. In the 2023 IPL, he had a tough moment when he gave up 5 consecutive sixes. However, in the 2024 IPL, he defended 11 runs in 5 balls against MS Dhoni.

Rinku Singh Hit 5 Sixes

In the 2023 IPL, during a match between Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders, Rinku Singh hit Yash for 5 consecutive sixes in the last over, leading KKR to victory. At that time, Yash was playing for Gujarat Titans. After this incident, Yash’s career seemed to be in trouble, and Gujarat Titans released him before the next season. But in 2024, RCB picked him, and from there, his luck changed.

Defended 11 Runs Against MS Dhoni

In the 2024 IPL, Yash played a crucial role during the 68th match between Chennai Super Kings and RCB. To qualify for the playoffs, RCB needed to win the match, and Chennai also had to chase a specific target to qualify.

On the first ball, Dhoni hit a six, leaving just 11 runs required from 5 balls. However, on the next ball, Yash dismissed Dhoni.
