CM Saini’s Big Statement on Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia: ‘Both Are Victims of Congress Politics’

Haryana Assembly Election 2024: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has made a significant statement regarding wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia. He said that both are victims of Congress politics. CM Saini made these remarks in an interview with Aaj Tak before Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia joined Congress. Both wrestlers are now part of Congress and are expected to receive tickets for the Haryana Assembly elections. Before joining Congress, they both resigned from their railway jobs.

Congress Respects Women: Vinesh Phogat

After joining Congress, Vinesh Phogat said, “In tough times, you find out who your real supporters are. All parties except BJP supported us. I am now part of a party that fights for women’s respect from the streets to Parliament. I tried to inspire children through wrestling. I competed in the Olympics and reached the finals, but it was not meant to be. Sometimes, things are beyond your control.”

Vinesh added, “Today, I have the chance to serve the people of the country. I want to ensure that no athlete faces what we faced. Our fight continues in court. We will work hard, and I will stand with you, no matter what.”

Bajrang Punia: Strengthening Congress

After joining Congress, Bajrang Punia said, “BJP claims that our aim was politics. We invited BJP to the movement, but Congress came. We will work hard to strengthen Congress. When Vinesh was out of the Olympics, the country was sad, but some IT cells were celebrating.”
