Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has made a statement about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that it is time for him to retire. He sarcastically added that this is why PM Modi is enjoying himself in the jungle.
BJP vs Shiv Sena
Sanjay Raut, a member of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction), commented that “PM Modi’s retirement time has come, so he is having fun in the jungle.” His remark came after PM Modi went on a jungle safari.
This statement has heated up the political atmosphere. Leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongly criticized Raut’s comment, calling it an insult to the Prime Minister.
PM Modi’s Jungle Safari Experience
On March 3, PM Modi visited Gir Wildlife Sanctuary in Gujarat’s Junagadh district on the occasion of World Wildlife Day. In the morning, he enjoyed a jungle safari and observed Asiatic lions up close. During the visit, he also learned about wildlife conservation and biodiversity. Some central ministers and senior forest officials accompanied him.
After the safari, PM Modi shared his experience on social media. Many people reacted differently to his posts. However, opposition parties criticized him, saying that he was busy with the jungle safari while the country was facing important issues.
BJP’s Response to Sanjay Raut
BJP leaders called Sanjay Raut’s statement irresponsible. They said that opposition leaders are making such comments because they are afraid of PM Modi’s popularity. According to BJP, under PM Modi’s leadership, the country is progressing, and opposition parties are just trying to damage his image.
