Once again, questions have been raised about Air India’s service. NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MP Supriya Sule expressed her anger over a delayed flight and demanded that the aviation minister hold the airline accountable. She said that flight delays have become a trend, which is completely unacceptable. Earlier, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also criticized Air India for giving him a broken seat on his flight.
Supriya Sule’s Complaint on Social Media
Supriya Sule took to social media platform X to share her frustration. She wrote:
“I am traveling on Air India flight AI0508, which is delayed by 1 hour and 19 minutes. This has become a regular issue, causing inconvenience to passengers. It is completely unacceptable. I request Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu to take strict action against airlines like Air India for repeated delays. Strong rules should be implemented to ensure better service for passengers.”
“We Pay Premium Fare, But Flights Are Always Late”
In another post, Supriya Sule mentioned that Air India flights are always delayed. She said:
“We pay a premium fare, but flights never take off on time. Professionals, children, and senior citizens all suffer due to this mismanagement. I urge the aviation minister to take action and hold Air India responsible.”
Air India’s Response
Air India replied to Supriya Sule’s post, saying:
“We understand that delays can be frustrating. However, sometimes operational issues beyond our control affect the flight schedule. Your flight to Mumbai was delayed by one hour due to such an issue. We appreciate your understanding.”
Shivraj Singh Chouhan Also Faced Issues with Air India
A month ago, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also raised concerns about Air India. He complained that he was given a broken seat, which was damaged from inside. When he asked the cabin crew why he was assigned a broken seat, they admitted that the management had already been informed about the issue but still sold tickets for the faulty seats.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan criticized the airline, saying:
“I thought Air India’s service had improved after Tata took over, but I was wrong. Isn’t this cheating passengers? Will Air India take action, or will it continue taking advantage of passengers who have no choice?”
With repeated complaints from leaders and passengers, Air India is once again under pressure to improve its service and punctuality.
