Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Balrampur, where he attended an event at Kumbhi Sugar Mill and laid the foundation stone for a biopolymer plant. During this event, he spoke about Maha Kumbh 2025, saying that the whole world is now participating in it. He claimed that half of India’s population has already taken a holy dip in the Kumbh. According to him, no other event in the world sees such a massive crowd.
Bioplastic Plant: A Step Towards a Cleaner Environment
CM Yogi inaugurated a bioplastic plant, which will produce disposable bottles, carry bags, and other eco-friendly products. He mentioned that these products will decompose within three months, making them safe for the environment. He described this initiative as a major step toward fulfilling PM Modi’s vision and a great opportunity for job creation.
He also highlighted global environmental concerns, saying that the world is worried about climate change and global warming. This new plant will ensure that plastic waste does not harm rivers and drains.
CM Yogi on Maha Kumbh 2025
Talking about the Maha Kumbh, CM Yogi said that plastic waste is a big problem, as animals like cows and buffaloes eat it and fall sick. It also remains on roads for years without decomposing.
He further stated that he would visit Prayagraj to inspect the Maha Kumbh preparations. Calling it a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle, he said that people from all over the world are eager to participate.
He proudly announced that so far, 60 crore people have taken a holy dip in the Ganga during the event. According to him, no other festival or gathering in the world sees such a massive population.
