The President highlighted key initiatives by the government:
- Housing Scheme Expansion: The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will provide homes to an additional three crore families.
- Tribal Upliftment: The “Dhartia Aba Tribal Village Excellence Campaign” will benefit five crore tribal people.
- Healthcare for Seniors: Health insurance will be provided to six crore senior citizens aged 70 and above under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
Economic Growth and Reforms
President Murmu also announced:
- Eighth Pay Commission: This will benefit central government employees.
- India’s Economy: The nation is on track to become the third-largest economy soon.
- Youth Achievements: From startups and sports to space technology, Indian youth are making the country proud.
- Digital Payments: Banking and digital payment systems are connecting rural areas to financial services.
Focus on Ease of Doing Business
The President highlighted several initiatives to promote ease of doing business. She announced the launch of the India AI Mission to enhance the nation’s contribution to artificial intelligence. The government is also implementing a modern education system through the National Education Policy (NEP).
President Murmu concluded by emphasizing India’s global recognition and the government’s continuous efforts to foster progress and development.
